Timothy Tiberius "Timmy" Turner is an American 10-year-old kid from a middle class family and the main protagonist in The Fairly OddParents. Timmy was born in c. 1997, wears a pink cap, and has noticeable buck teeth. His parents are rarely present and take little interest in his activities, which makes it easy for him to conceal the existence of his fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda. He wishes for nearly everything he wants, consequently causing unintentional havoc on many occasions.
Timmy generally has good intentions, but has a tendency to be selfish and obstinate at times. He is commonly portrayed as having short attention span, and earns failing grades at school, although this seems to be primarily due to his childish disinterest in academic achievement, as well as Denzel Crocker's severe hatred for him.
Throughout the series he goes under a variety of alter-egos, with one of the most common being the superhero and Crimson Chin sidekick "Cleft, the Boy Chin Wonder."
